General Best Practices

BMZC maintains food and lodging health precautions through New Mexico’s “NM Safe Certified” system.

We respectfully request staff, residents, visitors and volunteers practice careful hand and respiratory hygiene.

BMZC will provide cleaning supplies, hand sanitizer, face masks and other appropriate personal protective equipment. 

General Health Policies

We respectfully request visitors stay home if they are feeling unwell.

We reserve the right to request residents, staff, volunteers and visitors take a COVID test or self-isolate if exhibiting concerning symptoms.

For those residents, staff, volunteers and visitors with a known infectious illness, we will request appropriate self-isolation as per CDC guidelines.

American Disability Act Accommodations

BMZC does its utmost to accommodate those with disabilities, but our campus is rural and the ground uneven with limited wheelchair access.

Please call the BMZC office prior to your visit or stay with any concerns.

Drug and Alcohol Policy

In keeping with the fifth Buddhist precept, we respectfully request all students, staff and visitors avoid intoxication.

BMZC does not permit the use of tobacco except in designated smoking areas.

BMZC does not permit the use of illegal drugs on campus.
