Change the world by enjoying the outdoors!
The Bodhi Manda Zen Center is a participant in WWOOF, Worldwide Opportunities on Organic Farms. WWOOF is a global movement that links volunteers with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non-monetary exchange, thereby helping to build a sustainable, global community. As a volunteer (or WWOOFer as we call them) you will live at the Bodhi and work alongside your host helping with daily tasks and experiencing life as a farmer. Volunteers work in the Center’s garden, kitchen, and guest house. Most Wwoofers also participate in the daily meditation and zen practice activities. A three to four week residency is typical, but longer stays are possible. Check out the Bodhi on the WWOOF website.
